His Presence is peace, breathe Jesus in, fear out. Today!

"For he himself is our peace," Ephesians 2:14
I am so aware of the word RELATIONSHIP this morning.  I am going with my usual style, just brain dump.  I have a long list of longings for Jesus right now.  A long list of precious loved ones who are walking through fire.  Last night at about midnight I said to Steve, "I know Jesus is more about us coming to Him in trust and relationship, than the specific list."  So I am working it out, TRUSTING HIM, IN RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM, FOR HIS GLORY, AND FOR MY FRIENDS.

When we stop wrestling with the long list of crisis, and just lay them at God's feet, TRUSTING Him with these "crisis" situations, we begin to feel free and light.  That is not only what we need, but what our friends need.  That had to click into place, AGAIN, in my heart last night.  I felt the peace come.  It's not about how hard I pray, but that I pray...that I go to HIM.  He draws.  I was not able to sleep at all last night.  Not out of worry, just stirred, feeling a bit of a flare, and at the same time stirred to much prayer.

I tried to get up 3 times today, and was humbled by the flare in my body.  But I actually found peace in being forced to be still.  I began to read Psalm 34 and then some more of Jeremiah.  All the while asking God, "How do I hold what I know/don't know?"  "How do I honor you in believing for Your peace for my friends/me?" As I prayed, God reminded me of Matthew 7:7 and when I looked it up it was cross referenced with Psalm 34:4!  Coincidence?  No!  And Psalm 37:4!  Ask, delight in Him, He doesn't want to give you a stone!  And I will go out on a limb and say, I think the safest way to ask for His will, is to ask for more of HIM!

Matthew 7:7
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.8"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.…
Cross References
Psalm 34:4
I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 37:4
Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Matthew 7:8-9 says,
"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9"Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone"

I am humbly here this morning to encourage all of us to talk to Jesus, He intercedes for us, as does the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:34,
"Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us."

Romans 8:26,
"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans."

God wants relationship...that's the o
utcome, think outside the box, outside our requests, and trust Him to love us well, and to help us to love Him, and others.  PRACTICING HIS PRESENCE. IS. ABOUT. STOPPING. TO. SIT. IN. HIS. PRESENCE.

When we do this, He ministers to us and then we are set free to be His vessel to others.

 Psalm 118:24 "This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it."
