The pit in my stomach...

So, yeah, I posted what I experience and believe about grace yesterday. Nothing has changed, except for the pit in my stomach. So many stones of faith in our faith jar reminding me of truth, God is faithful. "He Who calls is faithful, He also will do it." 1 Thessalonians 5:24.

I always get this pit in my stomach as the threshold of change gets close. At a distance it feels OK! But then I have to walk it out and truly press through the "letting go." After her plane leaves, the grace comes. But I'm believing for the grace between today and Tuesday.

I wouldn't want "easy" outside of God's will. I will always cling to Him for "hard" in His will. We all have long lists of people we love and pray for. Always remembering to pray "outside" that list...the Body of Christ at large, the lost, the persecuted...life is about so much more than we see.

"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen." Hebrews 11:1 Just being honest today. I wrote of unclenched hands yesterday... God is prying my fingers off of several things at once. It doesn't matter what they are, we all have things we give to God and then take back, and then give again.

The important thing is to remember that as a "child of God" we are "who we are" because of "who He is!" If we slip into "orphan mentality" we are declaring that "who we are" is because of "who I was, or what I did, or what happened to me." We either REST in the cross, or RESIST the cross. These truths have always shaped my healing, and were poured into a great book called "Craving Grace" by Ruthie Delk.

Truth is truth, pit in stomach or not! I believe and I trust and I fall forward, with my insides in knots. He is the best at untying knots!  In yearning for Him, He comes!
